Mr. Aryeh Levinak du Joint

On Beis Nissan, Yom Hahilula of the Rebbe Rashab hundreds of friends, supporters and students of Mayanot converged @ the Mayanot Shul in Jerusalem, to celebrate a siyum and Hachnosas Sefer Torah. The Torah was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Aryeh Levinak a recent member of the Mayanot shul.

The Mayanot Shul complements the Mayanot Yeshiva, Judaic Studies Program and birthright israel program, by offering a warm community, exciting programs and challenging classes. Each week the shul continues to grow, attracting students and young couples from all over Jerusalem.

Mr. Aryeh Levinak, spoke fondly of his warm memories with Rabbi and Mrs. Pinson the Rebbe's shluchim in Tunisia, who opened their home and heart to him when he was sent to Tunisia by the Joint in the mid 60's. Mr. Levinak spoke emotionally of the importance of completing a sefer Torah and how the Rebbe stressed that this brings shmira to the soldiers who are right now on the front lines putting their very lives in danger for all of Klal Yisroel.
